Video # 1: Priority Improvement Plan

These

improvement refers to the prevailing problems

encountered by the school. The school as an organization will find interventions together with the help of the stakeholders inside and outside the community.There are three key result areas namely Access,Quality & Governance. The said plan should be evidenced-

based, result-based and learner-based. The access here refers to the opportunities of the learners to be enrolled in school, quality discuesses the performance of the learners and governance denoted the effectivity and transparency of the governance itself.

Video # 2: Preparation Phase of SIP This is now the time that the school head creates a team. The

team will identify the needs and changes of the school with the supervision of the school head. The steps to be followed in this phase are the following: 1. Data Gathering 2. School Planning Team (SPT) 3.Convene School Planning Team. The school planning team should be at least 7 members: School Head as the Team leader, student representative, teacher representative, parent re representative presentative, barangay/ LGU , member of Brgy. DRRMC & member of the School Child Protection Committee. The team should consider the allignment of the said members as to their functions in order to extend their help in giving possible solutions to the improvement plans.

Video # 3: Assessment Phase of SIP The listed priority improvement plans crafted by the teams should be assessed through the prioritization rubrics.These plans should be based on the following considerations such as strategic importance, urgency, magnitude and feasibility. These improvement plans are specific, measurable,accurate, realistic & time-bounded (SMART). The basis for setting the general objectives are baseline, target and time period.

Video 4: Plan & ACT Phase of SIP In Planning phase,there is what we call the feedbacking, transparency & stakeholder participation. While in ACT Phase refers to the solutions, you need to test the solutions in a small population. This solution shoulbe be based on the contect of the school. Never believe on the quotes “ One size fits to all and as a project team never copy the SIP of other school during the implementation process.
