Reflection on speech

Again my topic chosen was women’s rights. I tried using the same story line as my narrative. I used emotive language in parts of my speech although majority of it was emotional. Compared to my narrative, not much imagery was used but in parts we can see some traits. Writing my speech, I used personal past experience to explain some events women faced daily which made it easier to write and relate which is something I wanted to achieve in the speech. Women in certain situations has to face the same events as women did in 1883. Money is still controlled and abuse is prevalent. My speech is from a women perspective meaning that the coin can be flipped. I didn’t make mention of this as this is just one side. This shows different sides of abuse against women, Physical, Emotionally and verbal although mainly focusing on the other two.
