10/19/2007 To Whom It May Concern: My name is Mr. Keith Benson, Social Studies teacher at Woodrow Wilson High School. I am graciously writing this letter to recommend Ms. Melita Surgick for acceptance into your fine institution. I have taught Melita for both US History I and US History II over the past two years. And over this period of time, I have found Melita to be a bright, capable, and considerate young lady. Not only has Melita, repeat honor roll student, excelled within the classroom, she constantly challenges and enriches herself through joining various clubs and teams. Ms. Surgick was play the piano and sings for the Woodrow Wilson Choir, the Lady Tigers Basketball Team, the Lady Tigers Track and Field Team, and has volunteered numerous hours for community service.
