1:1000 Edgar family centre is an adult education site, where parents bring along their children to be looked after whilst the parents are in classes there. During the summer when the classes are held they play in the centres garden. Currently the garden has no play facilities. The space is very small and can hold up to 20-25 children at a time. At weekends the centre wants to expand it’s services to the local community by opening up the garden. The centre want to then make some adjustments to the garden by extending into an area opposite the current site, which is acting as an entrance to a disused room. There is a clear view to the train tracks to the north of the site.
