About the Conference

Submission of Abstract

The present conference RACMP-09 will provide a forum to unite the scientists and engineers working in different areas across the country to share their views on recent advances in the experimental as well as theoretical and simulation work in condensed matter physics. The topics to be covered in the conference includes

Authors are requested to prepare one page abstract strictly as per guidelines available in conference webpage at institute website and send in the form of electronic file in MS-Word document format through e-mail on or before the due date.

Accommodation

Technical sessions will consist of Invited talks from leading experts in the field, and contributory research papers received from researchers, scientists and technologists for presentation during the conference.

The boarding and lodging during the conference will be provided free in the institute hostels. Traveling cost has to be borne by the participants. The hotels are also available in the town ranging from Rs. 500/- Rs 1250/depending upon the type of accommodation. Those participants who wish to come with family will have to stay in the hotels in the town. Such participants are requested to book their accommodation at least one-month in advance on actual payment basis by sending a specific request along with a demand draft drawn in favor of Convenor RACMP-09. Technical Sessions

One full page abstract should be typed within a space of 17cmx22cm on A4 size paper using font size 12 point for title and 10 point for text. This should contain the title of the paper, author(s) names, affiliations, abstract and supporting figure, tables, data etc. The name of presenting author should be underlined. Selected papers will be published in conference proceeding in reputed journal / publisher.

About NIT Hamirpur The institute campus is situated at Anu (3Km from main bus stand of Hamirpur town) at an altitude of 900 meters. NIT Hamirpur is about 220km from Chandigarh and is well connected by roads. The nearest railway station is at Una (HP), which is 80Km from Hamirpur. The nearest airport is at Shimla (150Km) and Kangra (85Km). Direct flights from Chandigarh, Delhi and Mumbai to these places are available. The campus has pleasant lush green pine trees surrounding, facing the snow clad Dhauladhar mountain ranges. Thick woolen cloths will be required during conference. The famous international tourist place Manali is about 230Km east of Hamirpur and is well connected by National Highway (NH-70). The Famous Mata Jawalaji, Chintpurni, Brijeshwari, Chamunda Devi, Baba Balaknath Deotsidh, and Budhist Monastry at McLeodganj, Dharamshala are few nearby tourist places.
