Workshop on Materials Science and Atomic/Molecular Physics Experiments using the Low Energy Ion Beam Facility (LEIBF) 9-10 July, 2009 Organized by Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi 110067
ECRIS on high voltage platform
Experimental chambers
Electron cyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS) based LEIBF is functional since 1998. The low energy, singly and highly charged ions extracted using this facility are being used by research scholars from various universities/institutes for experiments in materials science, atomic and molecular physics. In order to use full potential of the facility, new research proposals for experiments with low energy (from a few keV to a few MeV) gaseous ions (singly and highly charged) are invited. The participation is open to research scholars and young researchers from universities/colleges and research institutes. Limited financial support for the students and faculties from universities is available for travel by train only. Proposals (in the given format) should be sent to contact person so as to reach by 31th May 2009. Contact Person:
