Attending a selective private college can be cheaper than going to a community or state college. • Many aid packages cover 100% of students’ financial need and are loan-free.
The National College Match • For high school seniors • Connects high-achieving low-income students with admission and full four-year scholarships to selective colleges • Offers College Match scholarships that: – Cover the full cost of tuition and room & board (worth up to $200,000) – Are loan-free and require no parental contribution
• Application enables low-income students to highlight their strengths and the obstacles they have overcome
The National College Match • Additional Benefits: – Access to 25 top-ranked colleges with one application – No application fees – A Quest Scholars chapter on every partner college campus
• In 2008: – 260 students received admission and College Match scholarships – More than 800 QuestBridge applicants were admitted Quest Scholars through Regular Decision with generous financial aid

2009 National College Match Dates • September 30: National College Match application due (including recommendations, transcripts, test scores, and essays) • October 12: College rankings and Match Agreement Form due • October 23: Finalist notification via email • December 1: College Match scholarship recipients announced • December 15: Deadline to request application forwarding for Regular Decision
Quest for Excellence Awards Nine awardees will each receive: • A new laptop computer • An all-expense paid visit to a QuestBridge partner college
Most awardees will also receive career mentoring from successful individuals and organizations, such as the Wall Street Journal and the consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
