I took all the offered training by SKEA during the last four years and I played the roles of assessor, senior assessor and team leader. In addition I am already a Green Belt Six Sigma Certified. A2. Yes I can dedicate Quality Time for this process, because I believe that when I want to do my job I have to do it perfectly. And I am able to do that since my current job office hours are from 7:30 till 2:30, and I am free from 2:30 till midnight. A3. Yes, in addition to my experience on the assessment process, I can bring to the assessment team the project management methodology which will help me and the team to run the assessment cycle as a project and by applying the project management tools and processes we can ensure quality output and on time delivery. Important notes: Approval from your employer is important. Before signing, please read through the following important notes: (1)

Applicants will be required to attend 3 days training during September.

(2)

The training will be delivered in English and, therefore, a good command of the English language is expected, both, in reading and writing.

(3)

Before the training commences, all candidates will be required to study and score a 70 page document representing a fictitious case study which will be given to you at the Assessors Briefing Seminar at least 2 months before the course. The case is written in English. The score and pre course analysis is an integral part of the training process which must reach us at least one week before training commences. Candidates that do not send back their score books will not be allowed to take the training. This course is Free.

Whilst you will work under the supervision of a team leader, the applicants are expected to serve in a team of assessors with the responsibility to evaluate and to score up to two submissions. That must be conducted between October and December.

Each single Assessment requires at least 20 hours of private work, plus one full day for consensus meeting. In addition, Assessors will also require at least one day for site visits.

(6)

Consensus meetings must be held in the morning at the DED Office. Site visits must be held in the morning at the applicant’s site.

This work is completely voluntary. No fees will be paid to new assessors, however, assessors work will be recognised by the Dubai Quality Award Secretariat. A trophy and two certificates will be awarded to each assessor, one for attending the training and one for conducting the assessment. The training will be conducted by an internationally certified trainer.
