The Story of the “Game Title” This is what makes your game interesting. Think about games you played when you were young. What was your favorite game? What is your child’s favorite game? What about the “story” of the game makes children want to play it? Your story should tie everything together -- the purpose of your game, what they are going to learn, and why they should want to play the game. Look at the sample games to see their stories.

You might have a friend or family member (especially a child) play the game with you after you’ve started to put it together -it’s a great way to test out your directions. Also -- look at existing games; what directions do they include?

Time to play “Title of Game”! •

Create one action button for each question in your game (i.e., 25 questions, 25 buttons). This is the slide students will return to at the beginning of each turn in order to access the next question.
