NuMedTec 3620 Schooner Drive Stockton, CA 95219 Re: ProNutra Dear NuMedTec, I am writing to tell you of our experience with ProNutra. We are seeing results that are very impressive compared to what we were formerly using. A patient was admitted from the hospital with his entire back involved with a second degree burn and who had other burns on his body. It was the dietitian who suggested we make a trial of ProNutra by starting the patient on ProNutra on the day of his admission. The burn wounds were very moist on admission. Within one week these wounds dried. We never expected that to happen! In addition to the ProNutra, we began using xero-form which is the usual treatment for burns. We stopped the xero-form within one week because the wound was dry enough on its own from the use of the ProNutra. We saw new skin cells form quickly too. This patient never had any complications, fevers or infections. The wounds were almost healed in the five weeks before he was transferred. We saw the wounds heal much faster with the use of ProNutra than we would expect from our usual protocol for burns. We tried ProNutra on a diabetic patient. She had a chronic open area on her coccyx and on her right heal. This patient was on "comfort care." Her wounds went from stage III to stage II and almost completely healed before she expired. We observed that she exhibited a lessened need for diabetes medication during her course of ProNutra treatment. A third patient had a stage III wound with black eschar. In a short time after starting ProNutra, the wound reduced to a stage II with no eschar. We observed that the eschar just came off, making the debridement much easier. The wound healing increased with the ProNutra. I think the zinc and vitamin content of ProNutra helps with the debridement process. The family members of these three patients are all very impressed with the healing times as we are. My staff and I concur.
