INTRODUCTION :

The resources sheet in Microsoft project software is a window that the user can edit, view and create the resources and the resources information. (Ben Howard, 2013) Moreover, managing these resources in any project is really important where it enables the effectiveness of the scheduling, improving the recourse allocation and make a reliable cost planning. Thus, allocating the right project and avoiding the overload in the same time while managing. (Venkatraman , 2011) Resources levelling is an essential demand that has to be applies in any project software as it’s the process of changing the schedule by moving tasks to dates when there is available resource capacity when over-allocation happens . (Kenneth steiness, 2014) In this report there were two types of resources used which are the work type and the material type, data were added to it and they were assigned. Adding to that, the resources were levelled and each resources its cost was added and analyzed by inserting a cash flow chart. The Objectives of conducting this report is to produce a master program with the resources management for a low complexity project by following the steps that has been mentioned above starting from adding the resources data to inserting cash flow chart. 

LABORTARY DATA :

RESULTS / DISCUSSION :

1) The project duration is 31 days and the project due date is 18th of February 2018.

3) The project duration got increased after leveling all resources by 4 days as it reached 35 days, and the due date got delayed also to become 22nd February 2018.

6) The total project cost is 104,350.00$. 9|PAGE

7)) the cash flow is very important to be used in MS office as its predicts the money usage and how it may spent or received in any project. (Microsoft, 2016) below is graph of the project.

8) The resources of the crane allocated manually.

Figure (17): Manually drawing of project duration.

9) The duration of the project manually was 34 days, on the other hand the duration of the project by using Microsoft Project was 35 days, this difference of the duration which appeared in the manual because we levelled four resources and manually we used only one resource which is the crane.

 CONCLUSION :

To conclude this report , steps has been followed by using the Microsoft project software to produce a low complexity program for a project by managing two types of resources which are the work and the material , then editing these resources by adding data to the resources for the crane , labor and the material and edit its details ( type , rate , etc. . After all these edits, the resources were levelled to meet the constraints of the project and 13 | P A G E

observe the due date of the project and the duration before and after the levelling. Finally, manual management has been done to compare the results with the software results by the duration of the project and there was a difference by one day due to the levelling command.
