Prisons Violate Natural Law By Anthony J. Fejfar, B.A., J.D., Esq., Coif © Copyright 2009 by Anthony J. Fejfar In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus Christ says that Prisons violate Natural Law. As Jesus puts it, part of his mission is to: “Proclaim Liberty to Captives…and Release to Prisoners.” The reason that Jesus says this is because prisons violate Natural Law. There has never been a humane prison. All prisons involve Human Rights violations with substandard food, poor ventilation, inadequate medical and dental treatment, etc., etc. In fact, some prisons do even provide a pillow for a prisoner to sleep with. Prisoners are tortured and terrorized in prison. Prisons are an abomination and God will cast judgment on society for there existence. Instead of Prisons, we should have House Arrest where the prisoner can get out for necessities and for Work Release. If the prisoner does not have a home or apartment the State must provide a Hotel Room or furnished apartment.

can be more closely supervised. Prisons also constitute Cruel and Unusual Punishment under the 8th Amendment to the United States Constitution.
