DARLINGTON PUBLIC SCHOOL PRINCIPALS REPORT 3rd June, 2009 •
Schools Anzac Day years 4/5 and 5/6 – all extremely well behaved.

Take Off Performance – Theatre of the Deaf excellent performance.
•
Years 4/5 and 5/6 Canberra – all went well and all children had a great time.
•
Jollypops, science show was very exciting.
•
Year 5/6 to Mokey Baa, show was excellent.
•
Year 3 to The Museum of Sydney all enjoyed.
•
Fire Engine visited the Preschool.
•
Launch of the Premiers Spelling Bee – everyone loved the school.
•
Public Education Day – “A Brighter Future for Australia starts here” All children made a star with a message, these are hanging all around the school.
•
Gala Day at Alexandria Park for K – 6. Children enjoyed a reconciliation assembly and games.
•
Police Liaison spoke to year 5/6 about Cyber Bullying.
•
Senior Choir performed at the Koori Centre and were appreciated.
•
Indigenous ANZAC Ceremony was a great event. Darlington year 4 – 6 children were very well represented.
•
BER is progressing well. New staff room and Preschool kitchen almost complete.
