RAM (Random Access Memory)
RAM is a form of computer data storage RAM is often associated with volatile types of memory DDR RAM & SD RAM are examples
HDD (HARD DISK DRIVE)
Computer's main storage media device Consists of one or more hard disk platters inside of air sealed casing Connected with either ATA, SCSI, or a SATA cable and power cable
FDD(FLOPPY DISK DRIVE
Floppy disk is a data storage medium Composed of a disk of thin, flexible magnetic storage medium encased in a square or rectangular plastic shell Floppy disks are read and written by a floppy disk drive or FDD
Monitor or display (sometimes called a visual display unit) is a piece of electrical equipment which displays images generated by devices such as computers Display device in modern monitors is thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD), while older monitors use a cathode ray tube (CRT).

Format & Installation of Windows XP Insert the Windows XP CD and restart your computer Press any key to boot from CD On the Welcome to Setup page, press ENTER On the Windows XP Licensing Agreement page press F8 This page enables you to select the hard disk drive on which Windows XP will be installed press L when prompted Press ENTER to continue setup on partitioned Drive (i.e. C Drive ) Press ENTER to select Format the partition using the NTFS file system Press F to start formatting the drive Windows XP erases your hard disk drive using a process called formatting and then copies the setup files Windows XP restarts and then continues with the installation

In the Computer Name and Administrator Password page type a password & click next In the Date and Time Settings page, select your time zone. Click Next Complete further settings by clicking Next The final stage of setup begins. On the Welcome to Microsoft Windows page, click Next Congratulations! Windows XP setup is complete. You can log on by clicking your name on the logon screen
