From Raissa: tanong ko lang... ano yung mga hinahanap ni mam sa presentation ng feasib? ma'am wants it to be professional. you know how much she loves the "role-playing" thingie. pretend you're really officers/entrepreneurs selling your idea. first, identify your audience. are they potential creditors, investors, or what? then you tailor-fit your presentation to who your audience is. kung creditors ang kausap nio, then ieemphasize nio ang financial soundness ng business proposition. you give them the relevant ratios.. you assure them na you can pay them back, how(from what sources), and when.. tipong gnun. if you're talking to investors, youd want to convince them of the profitability of the business, the returns they can expect, so on. nung class namin most of the groups (i think) presented to "investors." mas fun kasi eh.. pag creditors parang ma-financial mshado.. rules niya regarding visual...kung simple lang ba or mahilig siya sa mga effects effects... i think she prefers simpler but effective ones. be careful in wanting to impress her, ang importante malinaw yung graphs, pag may tables maayos, at nababasa yung figures. it's important that you get your message across, the visuals should only help and not distract. she got really pissed with one group kasi yung tables hndi mabasa. eh she wants to see the numbers nga diba. after that nasira na mood nia at tinorture na nia yung group. all because of their tables. and we all know her 7-words, 7-lines per slide rule. make sure that the colors do not clash.. basta i-bagay nio sa feasib product/service nio. merong mga namigay ng "actual" brochures, handouts but again, be careful of what you'll put in there kasi most likely your classmates will base their questions on what info you provide them. and if they dont listen well to your presentation theyll just consult what you gave out. same with ma'am. i dont recommend giving them a copy of anything financial.. haha.. pwede graphs/tables pero dpat "reasonable-looking." gets nio na to! i think ok lang magpa-effects but primary consideration tlga yung material na ipepresent nio. mahahalata nman kasi pag for show lang with no substance ;) but yes, it helps if maganda yung powerpoint, maganda yung outfits nio (IMPORTANTE TO FOR ME! haha!) gaano katagal yung reporting... from what i recall, 20mins lang yung presentation. so all you have to present is what really matters :) nung time namin she didnt bring the hard copies so she totally relied on what was presented.

tapos yung mga tinatanong niya pag nag-report... basically you will give your audience the information they need, and would be most interested in :) from that, you can infer what kind of questions ma'am will be asking. the questions will depend on what you present, so i advise you to minimize presenting "questionable" material. or better yet, master what you plan to present and make sure that you cover all loopholes. know how to weedle your way out of stuff you're not sure of.. basta if you present something improvised/imaginary/sobrang barbero, stick to it and defend it. pero ciempre you have to be careful na makalusot :) know your stuff! :) maam's really particular with the FINANCIALS (we all know that hehe) so if she sees something wrong she'll really point it out, or ask how you got that, or why you used that formula. check your formulas (it benefits to learn from the preceding groups.. kasi icocorrect na nia na ito dpat yung formula na gagamitin, etc) so you MUST keep changing your "for presentation" feasib in order to incorporate all the corrections that she made, para wala nang mashadong matatanong. listen to all presentations and make notes.. so when your turn comes, then youve maximized the probability of she liking your feasib :) IT'S IMPORTANT THAT YOU CONVINCE YOUR AUDIENCE (ma'am particularly). do not make it sound like a feasib project. DO NOT READ, try to do away with cue cards. do not put too much on the slides. cue-words lang dpat, and from there you pick up what you intend to say and you'll be the one to explain to the audience. do not lose your audience to the slides, make them listen to you :) i-todo nio, pangtotohanan tlga. be in your element :) magpaka-artista! EXTRA: eto yung mga na-appreciate nia before (na naaalala ko) paolo's group- map. maganda yung mapping nila ng cainta area ba yun, tapos marked yung competitors etc. meron din silang wooden easel showcasing info bout the company and their services.. ok yun! :) shane's group- live fashion show! tarpaulins featuring fabulous and gorgeous models! their product was really visible you could feel them already :) sushi's group- presentation. hands down. i wasnt there to witness it pero from what i know, nadala tlga sha (ma;am) sa presentation, she didnt notice the inconsistencies in the financials. she said there must be something questionable pero parang pinalampas na lang nia kasi sobrang impressed sha sa presentation. but then again, sila sushi kasi yon eh.. kaka and co.. feeling ko pang PANA/stratmark yung

presentation nila ;) samin- technical! haha, ang kapal. pero modesty aside, i remember she complimented our technical kasi bat nga ba.. kinarir ata namin yung "blue-print", merong mga kung ano-anong view (topographical chevers, haha tama ba to) kasi we had professional help c/o maggie's contact.. basta ang ganda nung ginawa, colored pa and everything. nakakaexcite tingnan parang totoo! plus we had a scale model c/o marian.. replica tlga. i think she liked that. From Sol: wow, sobrang bilis ng panahon no? akalain mo, matatapos na kayo sa feasib... pointers ON PRESENTATION: FLASHY, FLASHY, FLASHY! hehehe... lahat ng kaek-ekan na pwedeng ma-apply sa feasib nyo go! videos, fashion show (kung applicable, hehe)..lahat ng media na pwedeng magamit gamitin nyo. sa videos, interviewhin nyo yung mga sponsors ninyo, parang testi type...(diba guys?) kung makakagawa kayo ng commercial or ad about your project mas maganda...gamitin nyo "here comes the sun" by the beatles sa background...hehe! sa powerpoint, minimal text and highlight nyo lang yung mga important figures...the bulk of the report should be presented verbally, wag gamiting script ang powerpoint.... as much as possible, KAILANGAN HINDI MAGBABASA SA CUE CARD... eto yung isang tip nya. sa bungad palang sabihin nyo sa investors ano ang kikitain nila kung mag-iinvest sila (for example) ng P100 in year 1, 2 etc.... akitin nyo ang investors. sa CAPM kailangan alam nyo yung buong detalye ng mga figures na ginamit nyo...interest rate chorvaness...dun kami na-dali eh...hehe. kailangan VISIBLE lahat ng graphs and tables.... ayaw ni ma'am ng hindi maaninag na mga visuals. lalo nya kasi inuusisa pag malabo or maliit yung figures...wehe.

sa financials, excel computations should be on cue... para sa q&a alam nyo agad kung san huhugutin yung explanations. sa market study, yung survey details esp yung computation ng demand ang kadalasang tinatanong. pano nyo na-determine ang demand... pano nyo na-assure na representative talaga ng market nyo yung sinurvey ninyo... hmm... isip pa ako ng iba...pero as ofnow, eto talaga yung nag-stand out sa memory ko... basta, wag lang kayo pasindak. kausapin nyo classmates nyo na makisama sa inyo... hehe! peaceful co-existence! from Kitkat: ako rin! nasa mood din akong mag-type ngayon! Sabaday ngayon dito..kaya yehey, may time akong magbabad sa computer! basta this is a one time-big time shot. uyung presentation niyo will make or break your group. I swear. Si mam kasi makakalimutin kaya ang tendency is ang binibigyan nya ng matataas na grade is yung naalala lang talaga niya. Kaya mga parekoy, magpakaplastik na kayo kung kinakailangan! dress up for the report. Ang bestfriend nyo habang nagsasalita kayo is yung slides nyo! gusto nya na you get the info that you explain sa slides nyo.

Gusto ni mam, every presentation should be better than the previous. Just look forward to the happy days after doom's day. makakahinga na kayo ng maluwag. well may written output pa pala, pero at least mas maluwag na kayo. =) wag kayong papasindak sa purple-eyed monster na yan. Sus si mam agustin lang yan eh. hindi naman siya ang nagpapasweldo sa inyo eh! pero kung hindi successful, eh hello, may next sem pa naman! bawi na lang next sem! hahaha joke lang!!!! you will be just fine. magpray pati kayo ng mabuti!! =) From Maggie: wow rai! i was able to relive our feasib presentation after reading what you wrote!!! namiss kita sobra!!!!!!!! pero i would not do it all over again! naku! di kami natulog nila rai at yvette the night before the presentation!! parang we were re-writing the entire feasib paper to suit the presentation's needs according to ma'am! we really had to make it believable! i was in charge of the market study during the presentation day. i made

the crucial mistake of stating the assumptions first before the actual data! kasi nung una, sa mga ibang groups, yun ang sinabi niya eh! pero tama rin sya, it makes more sense if you deliver the FIGURES first, yung mga data na nakalap niyo muna, and then you explain kung paano niyo nakuha yun---the assumptions. pero last presentation day na diba, too late the hero naman si ma'am, haha! syempre kailangan the demand and supply numbers are favorable! kaya yung pinresent kong data matagal na prosisyon bago naging ganun yun! ang dami munang nangyari bago naging "believable" lahat: actual data, process of gathering the information, at assumptions! so to have ma'am get annoyed at me for presenting the assumptions first, ay parang nadurog ang puso ko nun... pero all in all, okay lang kasi di na sya nagtaray nung araw na iyon. lahat ng mangyayari sa presentation niyo ay depende sa mood ni ma'am. gusto niya yung sinusunod niyo kung anong sinabi niyang sampling method na dapat gamitin. nung sa amin stratified sampling at systematic. tapos pag magppresent ng figures, yun nga, gusto niya malinaw at kitang kita! ayaw niya ng may decimal points! kasi daw lahat naman ng ginawa natin ay approximations lang daw. so useless magpaka feeling exact using decimal points. nagustuhan niya sa technical report ni yvette yung system walkthrough. yung step by step process ng actual business transaction ng negosyo namin. (Art Castle: parang: parent comes in to drop off child-gets a card--picks up child--returns card--- and pays. tipong ganyan pero kinareer yan ni yvette! simple lang ang pag eexplain pero kuha na lahat ng mahalagang steps, kaya naintindihan agad ni ma'am! favorite nya yung part na to, naks! hehe!:) ) may day na magddiscuss yan si ma'am kung anong hinahanap niya sa presentation, so mag notes kayo! bawat salitang lalabas sa bibig niya isulat niyo! at magtanong---ng intelligent questions!---kung kailangan. dagdag pogi points yan kay ma'am hehe! good luck! kayang kaya yan! galingan niyo at ibigay na ang lahat lahat!!! pag natapos na, ang sarap ng feeling! parang nakalusot ka sa butas ng karayom!
