• The apartheid is the phenomenon of segregation in South Africa in the 20th century implanted by Dutch settlers Bóers in the region. It was a set of laws of political, economic, social and racial discrimination.
Nelson Mandela was the first black and democratic President of South Africa. Mandela was an anti-apartheid activist, and for this reason Mandela served 27 years in prison. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1993
• We think that Nelson Mandela was a very important person in the history of South Africa and a great example against racism. • We believe that the system of Apartheid was very unfair for black people because all people in the world have the same rights and we have to be respectfull with everyone.
