These Nazi Germans were forced to join the French Foreign Legion and were shipped to Vietnam to fight the Vietnamese on behalf of the French. The French lost the war in Vietnam, but the Germans stayed and went to ground and took control in North Vietnam, with support from Nazi-Communist East Germany. These Germans linked with numerous Japanese Divisions who never surrendered in China, and got control of not only Vietnam, but also Western China.
