POSITIVE MISTAKES

We first thought of mistakes we or other people made: -

Mom locked the door and we had to stay outside

-

I ran and bumped into someone

-

I spilled water on the floor

-

We make mistakes on tests

-

We make mistakes when reading

-

People make mistakes in traffic/when driving

-

I broke a glass once

-

We make mistakes when we play

-

I forgot my keys at school and I couldn’t get in the

house I asked the students to pretend they accidentally scribbled on their papers (I drew a line). Their task was to try and turn that into something positive. The students’ final drawings were amazing!  They turned their “mistakes” into wonderful drawings (hearts, hills, skateboards, waves and boats, trees, mountains etc).

Responsible people aren’t afraid to admit when they are wrong. They understand that everyone makes mistakes BUT they also try to learn from their mistakes.
