It’s in our core belief that we have to believe in all the prophets sent by Allah, and that makes an important point to consider. We don’t have just one or two or three or four prophets to believe in, (in ahl-e-kitab), in fact we have to believe in all of 1 lac 24 thousand (approx) of them. How does that have a positive effect on the Muslim Umma? It does so in the following manner: • Muslims view the Christians and other “Ahl-e-Kitab” as their friends, not enemies, because we know that they had prophets to lead them, which were sent to these communities long time ago by Allah Almighty. • Though Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) was the final and the most beloved prophet of Allah, but believing in all the prophets is an obligatory part of our Emaan. All the prophets, in essence, brought the following message from Allah o That there is only One God and He created the Universe o That following His instructions and leading a way of life according to His principles would grant you Heaven
