PHOTOSYNTHESIS:Photosynthesis is the process of making food using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight by green leaves. Photosynthesis, process by which green plants and certain other organisms use the energy of light to convert carbon dioxide and water into the simple sugar glucose. Photosynthesis occurs
in green plants, seaweeds, algae, and certain bacteria.

• Leaves give out water vapours through the process of transpiration. A leaf usually has a petiole and a lamina. • The stem bears leaves , flowers and fruits.
• The pattern of veins on the leaf is called venation. It can reticulate or parallel.
PETIOLE: - The part of leaf by which it is attached to the stem is called Petiole. LAMINA:- The broad green part of the leaf is called Lemina.
