IUCN INTERNATIONAL UNION OF CONSERVATION OF NATURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES

• ICUN was established in 1948. • It has made the list of endangered species of plants and animals. • Tiger project was prepared by INDIA in 1973 to control the hunting of wild animals like Tigers, Leopard etc.

• Now with the starting of this project, There is a great check over killing of these wild animals. • Some extinct species are marine tortoise, Pagonia, Archinds, Whales and Dianosours etc.

• Geer National Park- Gurat • Corbet National Park- Uttaranchal • Kaziranga National Park- Assam

In INDIA , Today 88 National Parks, 10 Biospheres and 490 Wild Life Sanctuaries have been developed to save wild life Many acts have been passed to conserve and protect the wild life.

Conservation of forests and wild animals is conservation of our lives. Man should Stop cutting and hunting of wild animals because they give us life and make this world beautiful
