Rules and Regulations Entries must be submitted by November 30, 2008 . Paper entries must be postmarked by November 30,2008 and mailed to Franklin Lakes Public Library You may download a copy of the Paper Entry form at www.franklinlakeslibrary.org. Please note, 3x5, 4x6, or 8x10 are the only sizes accepted for ““mail in” entry. Electronic entries must be digital image files of photographs or scans of photographs inJPEG format with a resolution of 300 dots per inch (dpi), a minimum size of 1536 x 2048 pixels, and a maximum file size of 1 MB. When scanning photos, set the scanner at high resolution/print quality/300 dpi. Electronic submissions must be accompanied by this form. Submissions will not be returned. Entries will remain the property of the Franklin Lakes Public Library. By submitting this entry electronically, applicants grant permission to the Franklin Lakes Public Library full rights to publish, reproduce, and publicize entries in any paper or electronic publishing formats. Entries may be scanned, described, displayed, linked, or reproduced on the library website, in any FRLK Library publication, or at FRLK Library meetings and educational programs. Each photo must be accompanied by a separate entry form, including a title, brief description of the photo, the names of the individual(s) in the photo, location, date and time, as well as the name, and contact information for the person submitting the photograph and the name of the photographer. Photo Release Statement: I hereby give permission to the Franklin Lakes Library to use my photograph for promoting, publicizing, and advertising the library and its programs, services, and collections on its website or in other official printed publications without further consideration, and I acknowledge the Library's right to crop and treat the photograph at its discretion. By submitting this form electronically, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless from any claims the Board of Trustees and all employees of the Franklin Lakes Public Library.
