Petroleum Exploration Technical Services The Government of the Republic of Zambia has advertised 23 Blocks for Petroleum Exploration.

The Government of Zambia is looking for companies to go into business ventures with. The companies that will go into partnership with the Government include:-

1. Petroleum Exploration Drilling Petroleum Exploration consists of the following: Hydrocarbon exploration (or oil and gas exploration) as the search by petroleum geologists and geophysicists for hydrocarbon deposits beneath the earth. Below are examples of Oil Rigs equipments:

3. Seismic Surveys The seismic survey is one form of geophysical survey that aims at measuring the earth's (geo-) properties by means of physical (-physics). Seismic surveys can help locate ground water, are used to investigate locations for landfills, and characterize how an area will shake during an earthquake, but they are primarily used for oil and gas exploration. The following are the examples:

4. Consultancy Services in Petroleum Exploration Consulting services – in Oil and Gas exploration are as well required as Zambia is venturing into this industry for the first time. Adequate advice in this sector is a vital component for its development.
