Target Audience This program is designed for healthcare professionals and includes, but is not limited to, dieticians, dosimetrists, nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, radiation therapists, social workers, clergy and related support groups.

Purpose & Program Objectives Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and St. Tammany Parish Hospital are providing this educational program to unite the many varied health and support professionals involved with cancer control. Dr. Lauren Davis, Medical Director, STPH Sleep Disorders Center, will be discussing the challenges of insomnia during and after a cancer diagnosis. This program will provide an overview of insomnia, including:  Identify how chronic sleep problems can affect patients daily lives, treatment and recovery;

1.0 contact hours are awarded for this continuing education offering by St. Tammany Parish Hospital, an approved provider of nursing continuing education by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, LSBN CE provider number 26. Applied for 1.0 contact hours by NASW Applied for 1.0 contact hours by ADA
