Presenter CHAD L. PRATHER, M.D. Physician Dr. Chad Prather received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine and completed his residency in the LSU Department of Dermatology, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Mohs surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Prather is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Overall & Offering Objectives Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is providing this educational program to unite the many varied health and support professionals involved with cancer control. At the conclusion of this program participants should be able to:  Identify the most common forms of skin cancer and differentiate from one another

 Approved for 1.0 contact hours by NASW*  Approved for 1.0 contact hour for nurses** *This program has been approved for 1.0 General continuing education contact hours by the National Association of Social Workers, Louisiana Chapter as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners, and may be applied toward the continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. **1.0 CNE contact hour will be awarded for completion of this activity (sign-in, full attendance, program evaluation completion). Our Lady of the Lake College Health Career Institute is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Louisiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
