INTRODUCTION
What is excellent teacher?
EXCELLENT TEACHER refer to The teachers who have
knowledge, mastery and high expertise
dedicated and motivated in
duties and responsibilities,
particularly in the areas of
teaching and learning
(Jemaah Nazir Malaysia)
Criteria of Excellent Teacher
a) Personality A good attitude, charismatic and fulfill
their effort to the service and teacher. They also sensitive and concerned
about the needs of students
b) Knowledge and mastery
Fully expertise the subjects
a specialist teaching and learning
wise in time management,
the source materials
teaching and learning tool
capable identifies the needs and problems of teaching and learning of students and provide action programs continuation, knowledgeable and mastery in information technology and communications.

Work to improve learning outcomes and the
potential to build in harmony with the Philosophy of the National Education
d) Communication
Have a mastery of communication and
high potential to deliver message with the idea and expression in various situations and forum
e) Potential a vision proactive have initiative be innovative Responsive in order to perform the task as educators

Trying to generate and implement new
ideas to improve the quality of national education

To enlarge the promotion in education service Providing opportunities for promotion to the teachers that have experienced, skilled and specialist in teaching and learning Allow teacher to get promotion without leave their teaching in classroom or transfer to administration post Prepared the opportunity of teacher to get promotion to the highest post in fast track

Special Condition to apply Excellence Teacher for Graduate Education Service Officer or Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan Siswazah (PPPS) at Primary School
Primary School 1.Excellence teacher applicant for PPPS Gred DG44 (KUP): a. The service is not less than 5 years on 01.01.2009 in gred DG41. b. Expertise subjects that applied was main subjects are taught by the applicant. c. Teaching the expertise subjects during the last 3 years, respectively.
Primary School --cont. 2. Excellence teacher applicant for PPPS Gred DG48 (KUP): a. Applicant has been raised to the rank of Gred DG44. b. Expertise subjects that applied was main subjects are taught by the applicant. c. Teaching the expertise subjects during the last 3 years, respectively. d. The Gred DG44 (KUP) teacher who have appointed as excellence must teach eternal expertise subjects
Particular Condition Excellence Teacher for Graduate Education Service Officer or Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan Siswazah (PPPS) at Secondary School
DG 44 (KUP) a. The service not less than 5 years at 01.01.2009 in gred DG41. b. The Expertise subject that applied was main subject are taught by applicant. c. Teaching the expertise subjects during the last 3 years, respectively.
DG 48, 52, 54, Khas C a. Applicant was appointed to the previous post. b. The Expertise subject that applied was main subject are taught by applicant. c. Teaching the expertise subjects during the last 3 years, respectively. d. Teaching eternal expertise subjects since appointed as Excellence Teacher .

Closing Excellence teacher was an effort and initiative of our government to upgrade the level of teacher service.
