Systems Adminsitrator • Redesigned Exchange Server implementation eliminating performance issues, achieved 99.999% uptime • Implemented VMWare ESX to consolodate 20+ servers onto two boxes • Implemented NetApp SAN to utilize high availabilty, dynamic resource scheduling, and vmotion for our ESX environment. Additionally, reduced storage requirements by half using NetApp's deduplication, cloning, and thin-provisioning technologies. • Redesigned disaster recovery plan to ensure receoverability of critical firm functions • Implemented Cisco WebVPN allowing VPN connectivity virtually anywhere. • Implemented 802.1x on wired ports in conference rooms to automatically place guests in secure, contained VLAN. • Redesigned WAN topology eliminating existing bottlenecks and removing the need for WAN accelerators. • Redesigned QOS setup to allow for video conferences over existing WAN connections, instead of high-cost ISDN lines. • Redesigned method for attorneys to receive conflict checks reducing the amount of emails attorneys received daily and increasing conflicts readability.
