Clinical Form 4: Pathophysiology

Submit a pathophysiology of the disease/diagnosis that is primarily responsible for your client’s alteration in health. If your client has had a surgery or procedure, include that in the pathophysiology. The report should be no longer than 2 pages. You may use your textbooks as a reference, two references are needed. Do not use web sites that are not academic sites.

Explain the pathophysiology for the disease. Include the clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, and treatment. Relate this information to your client, include lab values, and other diagnostic criteria that support the pathophysiology.
3. Utilizing the lab values identify if your patient is showing signs of alterations in cells, tissue, inflammation or immunity. 4. Describe how the disease/diagnosis presents itself in your client (i.e., how do you know she’s got COPD?) 5.
