Auxiliar DID + verbo (presente) Cuando utilizamos un pronombre interrogativo la construcción de la pregunta es la siguiente: PRONOMBRE INTERROGATIVO + DID + PRONOMBRE PERSONAL+ VERBO (PRESENTE) Example: What time did you get up? I got up at seven o’clock - I watched TV last night. She wrote a letter yesterday. Rules for adding “ed”: Agregamos “ed” a la forma base del verbo (wash- washed) Si la forma base termina en “e” , agregamos “d” (live- lived) Si la forma base del verbo termina en una consonante precedida por una vocal , duplicamos la última consonante y agregamos “ ed” ( stopstopped) Si la forma base del verbo termina en “y” precedida por una consonante , omitimos la “y” y agregamos “ied” ( carry- carried)
