<State> August 20, 2005 , As the new school year begins, excitement is in the air at Winter Haven High School once again. The History department is thrilled about the many activities that have been planned for each of the students in this 2005-2006 school year. In World History this year will have many opportunities to learn and explore the ancient past using modern technology. Your child will also be challenged with newly revised curriculum, which has been carefully developed around the new Georgia Standards.
