Convert a dual supervisory ethernet node to an FTE node Use this checklist to convert a dual supervisory node to an FTE node before migrating the node to a newer release. Considerations If the dual supervisory node does not have an FTE-qualified network card, install it in the node even if the node is replaced. The migration software looks for the FTE-qualified network card. Honeywell recommends you use the card in the new platform (temporarily) or purchase an FTE-qualified dual NIC. Checklist The beginning of this checklist refers to the prior release of this document FTE Installation and Service Guide for R3XX. Unless otherwise stated for conversion from the dual supervisory network to FTE must occur on the prior release before migration. After performing each procedure, return to the checklist to reference the next procedure.
