Paavakai aviyal: • Cut the vegetable into thin round shapes • Fry them in a pan without oil • Fry ground nuts separately and then powder them coarsely • Keep it aside •
Light the pan; add oil, mustard seeds, urad dhal
• Then add cut onions and garlic • Fry them well and add tomato • Add the bitter guard along with salt and chilli powder •
Fry for 2 mins (until the mixture becomes dry) and then add the powdered ground nut

Fry for 2 mins and serve with rasam or curd rice
