On the 11th of August some of the school went to an awesome brass band in the hall called Outreach from Christchurch played some music for everyone. There were six men. A trumpet, horn, bass, drum, trombone, and another trumpet player. I liked the song they played called Smoke on the Water plus lots of other ones. It was funny when the first trumpet player’s trumpets broke a couple of times. Some of the instruments were drums, tuba, horn, trumpet and a trombone. Some interesting things I found out were the tuba weighed about 17 kg’s, on one of the drums you could change the sound of it and the person who
could hold the note the longest was the horn player. Once the show was over there was a loud applause and then we left.
