Outreach Brittany

On the 11th of August a small group of an orchestra called ‘Outreach’ came to our school from Christchurch. They performed a lot of songs that some of us new. My favourite song was ‘The Pink Panther’ but I also liked ‘Smoke on the Water’. There were 6 people performing for us. They all had different instruments. My favourite instruments would have to had been the piccolo trumpet and the trombone. I liked the trombone because it has a round pipe sort of thing that you move up and down, and also it was different to all of the other instruments there. The piccolo trumpet was also my favourite because it is so small and the smaller it is the higher the pitch.

I really enjoyed listening to Outreach and I hope they come back. By Brittany
