Children's Outreach Center What is it? For two years, the Associadio de Assistencia a Crianca e ao Adolescente Carente do Estado de Roraima has been providing food, once a week, for children living on the streets of Boa Vista. Not only have they provided food for the stomach, but food for the soul. Every Sunday morning Moises and his team of five feed around 110 children that are currently registered with the program. Although it is just a small amount of food and a beverage, it is often the only meal these kids will have all day. After feeding their physical needs, on Sunday

evening, they hold a church service to feed their spirits. Moises and his team, which consists of three men and two women, are in the process of expanding their mission. Their goal is to provide one meal a day, everyday, for 200 children. Their plan is to create a center that will not only provide food but will offer the kids a place to receive education, athletics and moral support. This would open doors for children who would never have had these opportunities.

What is the need? Once the funds are in place, the land will be purchased and the building will be erected. It will consist of one building divided into different departments with the surrounding land available for recreational use. It will be able to host 200 kids between the ages of 5 and 15 who live on the street, are in single parent homes, large families, or those who have unemployed parents. The need for this project is $150,000.00 and will cover the property purchase, building construction, equipping the school, kitchen, and sports department and funds for the first three months. After this initial investment, $6,000 will be needed monthly to maintain their goal of feeding 200 children once a day.

How can you help? Financial support is greatly needed for three different stages of this project: Stage I - Finance the purchase of the land Stage 2 - Construction and furnishing the building Stage 3 - Monthly Child Sponsorship ($30 per month provides 1 meal a day) If you would like to support this cause please send cash, checks or money orders, Payable to: Frontline Missions 5600 Short RD.
