Our inpatient and outpatient programs combine a unique approach to treating addiction. Each program is tailored to the individual needs of our clients, with no two programs alike. Clients entering any CRT program will find compassionate and flexible treatment, which incorporates research-based, best treatment practices and principles.

I N TENSIVE OUTPAT I E N T P R O G R A M Central Recovery Las Vegas (CRLV)—an affiliate of Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC), an upscale residential facility offering detoxification and rehabilitation services in Las Vegas, Nevada— provides outpatient services for clients who struggle with the disease of addiction. Whether a client has completed detoxification, or inpatient rehabilitation, or enters directly into our Intensive Outpatient Program, CRLV is committed to helping him or her learn new tools to use while learning to walk on the road of recovery.

We offer clients the opportunity to participate in a collaborative effort of discovery and recovery.

Understanding the disease of addiction, its many manifestations, and its effects on the mind, body, and spirit are essential to finding recovery and learning how to live a drug-free life. CRLV provides full outpatient care and treatment for addiction recovery, as well as referral services for inpatient treatment needs. In addition, CRLV offers assessment and intervention services, family services, and drug testing.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a twenty-group track of four nights per week for five weeks. The group topics explore different aspects of the recovery process, ranging from the disease of addiction to relapse prevention, spirituality, values and beliefs, feelings, an introduction to the twelve-step principles, and communication. The program also includes weekly individual sessions.

We also offer an exceptionally informative lecture by Las Vegas Recovery Center’s Medical Director, Dr. Mel Pohl, on the medical aspects of addiction.

One advantage of IOP is that its revolving schedule makes it possible to begin with any group within the track. Clients are urged to participate in all group sessions, with the expectation that the client will continue in Aftercare. Our Aftercare program continues for six months, during which time the client will attend one group per week.

FAMILY SERVICES Addiction is a devastating disease. Its destructive force not only incapacitates the individual who has addiction problems, but often destroys the family as well. CRLV offers families counseling and strategies to cope with addiction in the family. Family group is held weekly and is co-facilitated by some of the best addiction specialists in the field. The family topics vary from week to week and include discussions about co-dependency, family roles, communication, and other related topics.
