Optional Assignment – Water! The day that the United Nations selected to celebrate the world importance of water was on 1992, in the UN Conference at Rio de Janeiro. This year we celebrate it on March 22. Water (H2O) has a lot of chemical properties, but the main ones are:  reacts with acidic oxides  reacts with basic oxides  reacts with metals  reacts with non-metals  joins in salts forming hydrates

ExTrA: Water: Is very important for life and living things, without it we, plants, animals, etc. could DiE. Mollecule: Everything around us is formed by groups of atoms and they form bigger groups called molecules.
