DRAFT Approved Meeting Minutes of September 10, 2008 and Agenda for October 15, 2008. Opening Comments: Mr. Hundt provided 10 instruments from music program stock for students, Fall Concert is set for October 29, 2008, last football game (barring playoffs) is October 24, 2008 which will also be Senior Night. Chris Johnson from Century Resources presented fundraiser. Boosters tabled decision until November meeting. Brief summary: He would do a presentation for each class, 95% of their products are made in the USA, guarantee every product, we can utilize their web-site for product sales, no delivery fee, selling process is about 2 weeks—6 weeks total from presentation until delivery. Approved By-Laws: Agreed to amend membership to include those without students in band and clarified “standing committee.” Nominated Treasurer: Wayne Strandberg was nominated and elected as Treasurer. Open discussions regarding computer records vs. manual records. Mr. Standberg agreed to work with Mr. Hundt regarding record keeping methods. Nominated Member-at-Large: Mary Nugent was nominated and elected as Member-atLarge. Non-Profit Status: In progress. Picture Fundraiser set for 10/24/08 at 4:00 pm. Debbie McCauley agreed to head the bake sale held during craft sale on November 8, 2008. Tina Conlen organizing bottle drive. Concession stand issues on Flag Football Super Bowl/Toilet Bowl Saturday. Maple Grove Elementary added 3 games and is looking to collect money from concession stand. Board agreed to give him a percentage of the profits. A formal thank you will be issued to football parents for helping out with the concession stand—the whole process was much smoother this year!

Page 2 of 2 Cottage Inn fundraiser will be postponed to a later date. Discussed advertising some of our fundraisers in the LA View and County Press to bring in more funds from the community as opposed to band parents all the time.
