OBJECTIVES Generally, the primary objective of this study is to thoroughly understand Choledocholitiasis and increase awareness that will help prepare health care providers for the quality of care that should be rendered for the clients with the disease. Specifically, it aims: 1. To be aware of the signs and symptoms of Choledocholitiasis. 2. To be aware of the available treatments and diagnostic procedure in assessing the disease. 3. To be able to educate the patient and significant others about incision care and activity guidelines to prevent secondary complications. 4. To be able to formulate a comprehensive nursing care plan for the patient’s case as well as interrelated problems. 5. To be able to put into practice the skills of nursing care and know its importance in caring for a Choledocholitiasis patient. 6. To help the trainees understand the pathophysiology of the disease. 7. To assist the clinical instructors gauge the knowledge of the trainees.
