I saw your interview on Channel 7, A. B.C. with Chris Barry. You certainly have my sympathy on all the directions thisthing is going to go, However, a prior report that I saw some time ago had to do with the Rockafellers, financing of: the two towers and the power of the New York Port Authority. The Rockafellers wanted as much rental room as they could possibily get, "built into these towers. The only way that this could be done was to transfer the weight that the interior support columns would carry to the outside walls. If the building codes were followed, there would have been interior support columns designed into these towers. Thisr report showed that money was no object and that,. (The Port Authority.) had so much power that they could bypass any building codes. (Answering to noone.) The way these towers came down almost looked like a(controlled implosion. ) causing them to come straight down instead of falling over, indicating that the interior was the weakest part of the towers. (This kind of construction should never again be allowed.) Theae towers should have never come down and while I am sure the firemen are very courageous when they went up into the towers, they never expected the towers to come down and none of them were on a suicide mission. Our fire fighters deserve this information and if it is still covered up, a lot of fire fighters will be hesitant to go into any high rise buildings if they think it will collapse on them.
