Band News!!!! The 5th grade students are off to a great start this year!! I’m very excited about the progress they are making in such a short amount of time!! Thank you students and parents for all your hard work!! I would like to direct you to my teacher page on the Northeast Hamilton web-site. I have posted calendars, lesson plans, and lesson schedules. Any changes to scheduling will be immediately posted on that page so that you may have the most up-to-date information. Some of you may not know that the band position this year is half-time. This means that I am not at Northeast Hamilton every day. My schedule is every TuesdayThursday and every other Friday. I have included the days which I am at NEH on the November calendar and marked them with (B). Those dates will not change. I will also have those days on my teacher page on the Northeast Hamilton web-site. Winter is approaching quickly and the possibility of snow days is near. If school happens to be cancelled on a scheduled lesson day plan on your child needing his/her instrument on the next scheduled band day - refer to the days marked (B) on the calendar. I will immediately send home a new calendar and post it on my teacher page to make sure you have the needed information. Please note that any band day that school is cancelled all band lessons will be affected and a new schedule will be sent home and posted on-line. I’m looking forward to our first concert which is scheduled for December 7, 2009 at 7:00pm. Please continue encouraging your child to practice and play for you, other family members, or guests in your home. As always please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have.
