VOICE OVER – LASHINI – 05/11/07 – VANGUARD - VTR SHOPWORKS’ MARKETING SERVICES RANGE FROM RETAIL PLANNING AND DESIGN, CONSUMER RESEARCH RELATING TO RETAIL ENVIRONMENT, CATEGORY MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION AND PERFORMANCE TRACKING. UNDER RETAIL PLANNING AND DESIGN SHOPWORKS WILL DESIGN RETAIL OUTLETS WITH PROVEN PRINCIPLES OF PLANNING TO ATTRACT MORE CUSTOMERS TO THE SHOP. CRAIG PHILLIPSON, THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF SHOPWORKS-UK SAID THAT THE COMPANY’S EXPERTISE IS BASED ON FEEDBACK GAINED FROM WORKING WITH SEVERAL MAJOR BRANDS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. 16:30 For example where ever you are, people shop at 60 degrees. That’s your arc of vision. Doesn’t matter where you are from in the world that’s what you are going to see. People only ever tern at 45 degrees.16:40 So if there’s something in their way they’ll swing 45 degrees and then change back. They’ll never turn back on themselves 16:48 And probably even more importantly people will only buy things in 1.2 meter of their journey through the shop. What we call that is exposing products to the danger of being sold 17: 00:33 WE ARE BRINGING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SRI LANKA A BROAD RANGE OF RETAIL CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO THE RETAILERS AND MANUFACTURERS. A KIND OF SERVICES WE NEVER HAD IN THIS COUNTRY BEROE. 00:49 ENDS.
dub 1. Due to the high price of petrol no one is hiring 3 wheelers. Most of us used to earn Rs. 800-900 a day but now only make half that amount. Cost of living is unbearable, so we are asking the relevant authorities to give the small man some relief. 2. We are daily wage earners. So as poor people, their should be some relief given to us through the upcoming budget. 3. We like to see the price of our daily food items to come down especially milk. 5. Prices of all items has gone up, if the prices decrease that’s really good. 6. Food prices have become unbelievable. 7. I believe the President will support businesses. Business is good for me, but I want the food prices to come down, because these prices are too high, how ever much we earn is not good enough. 8. I’m a pensioner, so I can’t expect a job or salary increments. So we expect relief to come through consumer items. 9. Not only us, everyone expects food prices to come down, because a lot of people have economic difficulties.
