ADMISSION OF STUDENTS IN POLYTECHNICS THROUGH JEXPO-2007 FOR THE SESSION 2007-2008

NOTIFICATION NO. 02 The candidates who have been merit listed against JEXPO-2007 and selected for appearing in counselling for admission to State / Notified Polytechnics in West Bengal in the academic session 2007-2008 may kindly note the following:1.

A medical certificate in the following format is to be submitted during counseling: MEDICAL CERTIFICATE (From a Registered Medical Practitioner) I do hereby certify that I have examined Sri/Smt. _____________________who has applied for admission to one of the State / Notified Polytechnics in West Bengal and found that he/she is of sound health and is free from any physical constitutional or organic defects or colour blindness which may endanger his/her health in doing work at workshop, laboratories and classes and I consider that he/she is medically fit for the admission to any Polytechnic in West Bengal. Do not attach any attested copies of certificates with the application form. However all such attested copies are to be submitted to the institution where he/she will be offered admitted.

Candidates must bring the following documents in original for verification at the time of counselling. (a) Admit Card of JEXPO–2007 (b) Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination (c) Mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination (d) Caste certificate for the reserve category candidates only from competent authority (e) Medical Certificate for PH category from competent authority

The course of study and institution to be offered to a candidate will be based on candidate’s merit position, availability of seat and his/her choice.

5.

If selected for admission, the candidate has to pay Registration Fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) at the time of counselling, otherwise he/she will loose his/her claim for admission.
