A Peek at the Week
Reading/Phonics: We will begin Unit 5: Weather this week. Our new skills to be introduced are the sounds and spellings for long e (e, e_e, ee, ea), /j/ (spelled ge, gi). HFW: done, again, carry, use, very Language Arts/Writing: We will be writing friendly letters, learning about adjectives, fact or opinion, and finding the main idea and details of a selection. Math: We will begin Unit 4: Basic Ten Structures. We will explore, represent, and visualize teen numbers. We will also learn teen addition strategies.
Social Studies: We will be learning about children around the world. Related Arts

We are collecting box tops for education to help fund our learning at our school. Please remember to save your box tops and send them in with your child as soon as possible. Every little bit helps!
