San Jose Sharks TV play-byplay announcer, Randy Hahn was the main speaker at last Tuesday’s regular club meeting. Randy let us in on some behind the scenes news, such as, former Shark stand out, Jeff Friesen is trying out for the team this year!

Mr. Hahn related stories from the early days of the Sharks franchise at the Cow Palace in South San Francisco and of the excitement of moving to the brand new San Jose Arena in 1993. The “Shark Tank” has

been home to the Sharks ever since. Randy also reminded the group of some of the outstanding moments of Sharks history, as when Jamie Baker scored the winning goal in game 7 of the first round of playoffs against the mighty Detroit Red Wings, eliminating them and catapulting the San Jose Sharks into the national headlines. Randy was also nice enough to bring some Sharks memorabilia to raffle off to the crowd. Shown in this photo are Sharks fans Jerry and Patti Cummings along with Randy Hahn.
