Argentinean Visits Campbell

Octoberfest a Big Success

“Partners in Service” is a unique program in the world of Rotary, It operates only out of District 5170 exchanging members and programs from around the world. Our club was honored to benefit from a visit from Carlos Ojeda of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Carlos shared how he was able to increase the contributions from his District tenfold in just a couple

of years. Carlos made it his mission to inform local Rotary Clubs in Argentina of the value of contributing to TRF. By informing the clubs that TRF funds come back to the areas that contribute them, Argentineans not only increased their contributions, but also their use of District Designated Funds (DDF) and accordingly, more local projects which have positively impacted the lives of needy people in the Buenos Aires area.

ITFR International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians (www.itfr.org ) is now present in 46 Countries of the five continents with 542 members. If you are a tennis fanatic or even a casual player and would like to take part in this active international fellowship group, contact Marco Marinaro at [email protected]. The Fellowship charges no dues and is open to Rotarians, partners, and Rotaractors.
