“Hot dogs, Corn dogs, Chili dogs, Fries!”
Congratulations, Warren Gilbert!
Our marble draw finally produced a winner at last week’s meeting. Warren Gilbert’s raffle ticket was drawn and after long and careful consideration, Warren pulled out the winning white marble and collected over $1.100. Just in time for the Holidays!!--Or maybe a gift to The Rotary Foundation?
Coming Events Dec. 30: We will be “dark”
Bill Ellington and his crack crew of volunteer builders, cooks and cashiers turned another cold and windy day into a chance to spread warmth and joy to the good people of Campbell. The “Carol of Lights” celebration brought people to downtown Campbell to enjoy a mountain of man-made snow, jump houses, music and those famous “hot dogs, corn dogs, chili dogs...fries!” prepared by your own Rotary Club
members. Ultimately, the cities official Christmas Tree was illuminated. Our booth was the only food booth allowed for this annual event. Proceeds of this event will go to support our helpful efforts here in Campbell and around the world. The idea of putting “Service Above Self ” was evident in our club’s efforts this past weekend. Thanks to Bill Ellington, Bill Highley, Jim Morelan, Bob Yager, Regina Reynolds, Steve Salmon, Kit Whitney and John Shannon.
