W
elcome Students and Parents! I hope you all enjoyed your summer and are ready to begin a wonderful year in a new and exciting educational world. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and explaining the wonderful things this year will bring us. The new technology systems available in our classroom should prove to be extremely beneficial to the students and myself and I’m hoping to give our new computers daily use. Throughout the year we will be learning about: Family History Our Local, State & National Geography The Life Cycle of Plants, Animals & Rocks Fractions & Geometric Shapes
be using the blog to keep you up to date with classroom projects and I will be showcasing your children’s artwork weekly. I feel it is important for parents to be informed and I am hoping that this Blog will provide a wonderful avenue for accomplishing just that. THIS WEEKS ART SHOWCASE: Isabella Beckman

n this newly developed technological world, I feel that it is important that our students learn the “ins & outs” of computers and other systems, so I will be including computer activities to enhance the students learning in all of these areas. Another wonderful new system we will explore together is the world of “Blogging”. I have started a Class Blog through Blogger.com, which will provide us with a new form of communication. I will
