Mission: Love God and My Neighbor, as I Challenge, Encourage and Equip others to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. About: In the summer of 2000 I started working with Youth as an intern. I had just fnished my freshman year at Indiana Wesleyan. It was during this summer at camp hearing Dr. Lo speak that I felt God speaking to me. That night I felt the call to ministry. Since this night I have done everything possible to pursue this call. It was also at IWU that I met my wife of 5 years, Jenny. After graduation I spent 3.5 years in youth ministry. I felt that it was time to pursue more education. So my wife and I moved to Indianapolis in the Fall of 2007 to pursue a Master’s in Ministerial Leadership at IWU. Currently I am looking for a ministry position and plan to finish my masters online. Education: Indiana Wesleyan University: 2007- Present Masters of Arts in Process in Ministerial Leadership Indiana Wesleyan University: 1999-2003 Bachelor of Science Degree in Christian Ministries Ministry Experience: Pulaski Wesleyan Church, Youth Pastor, August 2005– June 2007– Led Youth program including regular weekly services, discipleship, Helped organize annual Christian festival attended by 2000+, service projects, school bible studies, small groups, social activities, trips, took part in local board of administration and youth cabinet in the district. I would also take on other tasks as given by the Pastor to preach, have visitation, and regular services at the local nursing home. Greenville First Wesleyan Church, January 2004-July 2005--Youth and Young Adult Pastor, Led Youth and Young Adult program with regular week services, led 3 interns from nearby Southern Wesleyan University, discipleship, mission trip to Hephzibah, took part in local board of administration and youth cabinet in the district. I would also take on other tasks as given by the Pastor to preach, have visitation and led vacation bible school.
Roxana Wesleyan Church, Summer Intern 2003– took over the youth program for the summer leading bible studies, trips, discipleship and speaking. Helped lead church during a pastoral transition. Brookhaven Wesleyan Church, Youth Intern May 2000-June 2003: with discipleship and relationship building, also had chances to preach, lead trips and program different activities including concerts, overnighters, and spiritual retreats. IWU, Resident Assistant, August 2002-April 2003; mentoring, led bible studies, oversaw development of 36 students, enforced rules of university Kingdom Building Ministries, January-March 2002: The Laborers Institute (3 month discipleship program) consisted of a three stage process including a month of classes, a month in Brazil assisting a missionary, a month in California working in the inner city with missions, kitchens and teen centers and within a church of 2000. IWU, Christ-In-Action, Summer 2001: Indiana Wesleyan travel drama teamcounseling at teen camps through the United States over a ten week period. Had the chance to have bible studies, speak, teach drama, and challenge teens in their walk with Christ.
