To Whom It May Concern: I have spent my career focused on working in the church. After graduating from Indiana Wesleyan with a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministries in 2003, I have spent 3.5 years in Church Ministry as a Youth Pastor. The past two years I have gone back to school to work on a Masters in Ministerial Leadership. I have focused the majority of my ministry into the discipleship of teens through small groups. I have seen incredible growth among teens in small groups. Through accountability and authenticity these teens have started an incredible journey of faith that I hope stays with them their whole lives. Other roles in the church I have filled include visitation, preaching, staff meetings, evangelism, leading sponsors and interns, and discipleship by leading Sunday school classes and small groups. I have always stressed outreach/service as one of the best ways to grow. Through this I have volunteered with organizations that have helped rehabilitate and train former drug addicts and homeless men by teaching them a trade. I have served in many missions and shelters all over the United States. I had the opportunity to serve in the cleanup in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. All these events have helped form my worldview and have given me great experiences. I have dedicated my life and service to Jesus Christ and his church. I will soon be graduating from graduate school and am looking for a ministry within the church. Hopefully sharing these things with you does not seem like boasting however God has done an amazing work in me through these experiences and I hope to share Him with all those I come into contact with. I hope to hear from you to talk more about this position. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Nathan Richardson
